Kaitlyn McCoy is an educator and program manager specializing in educational technology, STEM, and makerspace innovation. With a Master’s in Library Science and ongoing doctoral studies in Instructional Design and Technology, she has led the design and implementation of makerspaces that transform traditional learning into collaborative, hands-on experiences. Kaitlyn manages the Innovation Lab at Old Dominion University, curating tech-driven programs for youth and training educators to integrate digital tools meaningfully into their practice. Passionate about inclusivity and innovation, she develops curricula in robotics, microcontrollers, hydroponics, and digital literacy, preparing students and educators to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.
