School-Based Team TimeAs we prepare for Year 2, each lab school team will engage in a structured reflection on its inaugural year. Using a simple continuous improvement protocol, teams will celebrate successes, identify opportunities for growth, and begin shaping priorities for the year ahead. This conversation is designed to capture lessons learned, strengthen collaboration, and inform the Center's professional learning, partnership development, and network supports for the coming year. Outcome: Each team will leave with a concise set of priorities that will inform school planning, network collaboration, and CEIO supports throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
We will conclude the convening by reflecting on the day, celebrating the beginning of a new school year, and reaffirming our shared commitment to the students, families, and communities we serve. This closing conversation is an opportunity for educators to identify one personal commitment they will carry into the year ahead while learning about upcoming opportunities to connect, collaborate, and grow across the ODU Lab School Network. Together, we will leave inspired, connected, and ready to continue building schools where innovation creates meaningful opportunities for every learner.
